Sticky the Magician

Charming 18 year old Oliver Parker aka Sticky the Magician is a member of the Bradford Magic Circle and past member of the Junior Northern Magic Circle.

Oliver Parker has achieved the following awards:

-In March 2002 came first in MagicTricks.co.uk's under 18's close-up entertainer of the year award.

-Later that year came second in both the Northern Magic Circle's Junior Day close-up competition and stage competition.

-Easter 2003 awarded the Northern Magic Circle's Silver Jubilee Trophy for second place in the junior stage competition at the annual Easter Parade Magic convention.

-July 2003 came second again in both the Northern Magic Circle's Junior Day close-up and stage competitions, this time achieving the award for Showmanship.

-Easter 2005 again awarded the Northern Magic Circle's Silver Jubilee Trophy for his Stage Maniuplation act.

 

Oliver began learning and performing magic about 9 years ago. His interest in magic was sparked by a simple yet effective card trick shown by his Grandad.

At around the same time he started learning to play the drum kit and has played in several bands and music groups, currently drumming in a blues band.

He also plays hand drums and percussion as a drum circle facilitator for his fathers business Active Rhythmology, who provide fun, relaxing and stress relieving rhythm activities for many different groups of people and events.
