Close Up Magician – Oliver Parker, the professional entertainer and website administrator of: www.leedsmagician.co.uk
What personal data we collect and why we collect it
Contact forms and booking forms
Data you choose to share (including your name, email address, phone number, company name and event details) when you contact Oliver Parker is securely stored by Giggio Ltd. – the professional entertainers CRM so that Oliver can respond to your enquiry or confirm your booking and be able to contact you leading up to the booking, perform at your event and follow up after the booking is fulfilled.
Your event information may also be securely stored in my private Google Calendar to help plan for your event.
Your information is private and will never be shared with any third party, unless you have requested for another recommended professional, such as another close up magician, to contact you. If Oliver is unavailable for your event date or you would like to hire other recommended event suppliers, for example and have asked for others to contact you directly.
I do not currently have a newsletter, so you will not be opted in to any automated bulk marketing.
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
If you upload images to the website or send Oliver any images, you should avoid using images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included.
If you’re unhappy with the idea of sharing the fact you visited our sites (and any other sites) with Google, you can install the official browser plugin for blocking Google Analytics here [https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout].
Facebook provides us with certain features and tools that we may add to our website to allow us to send data about actions that people take on our website to Facebook to track those who have visited our site.
If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
Embedded content from other websites
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognise and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
Enquiry form and booking data you have provided may be retained for a period of up to 2 years after the booking date for the purpose of fulfilling your booking, following up with communication and feedback after the booking and in case you may be organising a recurring event, to pitch repeat services again.
What rights you have over your data
If you have made an enquiry, made a booking, have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
Where we send your data
Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
